Spot the Wolverine
Upon BC’s arrival at a recognized hangout, confirm that the sighting is genuine. Photos, tracks, or blurry eyewitness accounts are not sufficient. BC must actually be there.
Confirm the sighting
Tap CONFIRM SIGHTING immediately. This starts the official CDRU observation timer for everyone visiting the tracker.
Conduct normal friendship activities
Proceed with camp, dinner, drinks, conversation, or whatever activity successfully drew the Wolverine from seclusion.
End the sighting
When BC leaves—or the hangout otherwise concludes—tap END SIGHTING. The session will be added to the permanent historical record.
Frequently asked questions
What qualifies as a confirmed sighting?
BC must be physically present and actively participating in a hangout. Seeing him drive past does not count.
Who can confirm or end a sighting?
Any responsible eyewitness. CDRU operates on a distributed, peer-reviewed observation model.
What if someone forgets to start the timer?
Confirm the sighting as soon as possible. Imperfect data is preferable to another undocumented Wolverine encounter.
What if someone forgets to end it?
End the sighting immediately upon discovery. CDRU recognizes that field researchers are sometimes distracted by friendship.
Does texting with BC count?
No. Digital traces may indicate that the subject remains alive, but they do not constitute a physical sighting.
What is the purpose of this research?
To establish a reliable historical record—and to gently communicate that BC’s friends would genuinely like to see more of him.
